Welcome to FEMAIL’s live coverage of the second day of South African President Cyril Ramaphosa’s state visit to London.
It’s very much a case of the morning after the night before… after Mr. Ramaphosa enjoyed an opulent royal banquet on Tuesday night at Buckingham Palace.
Hosted by King Carlos III and Queen Consort Camila, the extravagant banquet saw the royals dress in their finest for the lavish occasion – the king’s first state visit since he ascended the throne.
After greeting the South African Prime Minister yesterday morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales also attended the evening banquet along with other royals, with Kate Middleton, 40, dressed in a gem-studded white gown. from her favorite designer, Jenny Packham.
What awaits you on the second day of the state visit? Follow our live coverage of Mr Ramaphosa’s trip to the (potentially very drenched) Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, where he will be joined by the Earl of Wessex.
Plus the latest news on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s upcoming Netflix series, premiering next month…
