Kl Rahul celebrates his 50th birthday
Indian batsman KL Rahul impressed everyone with his 50-carry batting from 32 balls during Wednesday’s Super 12 Group 2 clash against Bangladesh at the Adelaide Oval. Rahul failed miserably in his performance in the first three games of the ongoing T20 World Cup and received a lot of criticism on social media from cricket fans and pundits. While the India team was beaten by Bangladesh, the opening batsman played his fiery game and got his half-century on his feet in just 31 balls before being sacked by Shakib al Hasan.
Rahul’s performance caused a social media storm as the crowd turned out to greet the Indian batsman. “He always knows how to respond to his haters. Welcome back man,” one fan tweeted.
