Kody Brown has said it many times by now.
Like, MANY, MANY, MANY times.
She is glad she left Kody Brown and has no regrets at all about this life-changing decision; Hell, she wishes she had done it years ago.
Here’s what we’ve now learned, though:
Christine’s children are also happy that their mother has moved to Utah in late 2021.
“I have 100% approval [from] my kids,” Christine told Us Weekly on Tuesday, Oct. 18.
“Everyone sees that I am much happier now and I am accessible to them…
I live five minutes from [daughter] Aspyn already half an hour [daughter] Mykelti and I see them all the time. So everyone loves it. We love it.”
Christine Brown is finally done with Kody. We are very proud of her for coming to this conclusion.
The TLC personality shares daughters, six sons and daughters with Kody:
Aspyn, 27, Mykelti, 26, Gwendlyn, 21, Ysabel, 19, and Truely, 12, and their son Paedon, 24.
In the latest episode of Sister Wives, Ysabel admitted that she is not especially close with her father.
“I do not know what it is. I don’t think he’s that big of an ogre,” Kody said in the same installment, displaying a complete lack of self-awareness.
“I don’t know why he doesn’t talk to me. I’m open to her.”
In an earlier Season 17 episode, Truely overheard a phone call from Christine last year that she was drifting away from her spiritual spouse.
“I think I was more devastated than [Kody] it was about how [Truely] I found out,” Brown added to Us on Oct. 18.
“When he came and spoke to her the next day, she had already processed that we were getting divorced and moving and she was very sad.”
Christine added in this interview that she has no plans to reconcile too much with Kody.
Elsewhere, while Kody has been claiming that Christine caught him off guard about a year ago when she announced her decision, the latter calls out BS about that allegation in this meeting.
“Last year, we definitely had conversations where they were like, ‘I just don’t think this is working,’” he tells us.
“And we would get together and we could say that there really was nothing there anymore.
“And my children saw, and they realized.”
What, your concern? Christine Brown has made it clear time and time again: she is soooo happy without Kody in her life.
As for where things are right now?
“I don’t think it’s co-parenting yet, but we, you know, communicate back and forth,” Christine says of Kody’s non-existent presence in Truely’s life these days.
On November 2, 2021, the mother of six wrote on Instagram:
After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave.
We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we raise our beautiful children and support our wonderful family.
